GOTHENBURG, Sweden — Defending team champion Volvo returns with an updated version of the C30 to contest this year's Swedish Touring Car Championship.
The STCC, which evolves next year into the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship, kicks off April 24-25 in Jyllandsringen, Denmark.
Volvo and motorsports partner Polestar meanwhile have been testing the ethanol-powered C30 in Guadix, Spain. The new car is a version of the face-lifted C30 production model, with updates to suspension, engine and aerodynamics.
