Realistic graphics combine with eight various tracks with increasing difficulty to give the player the feeling that they are actually behind the wheel of the vehicle. Tilting the phone will turn the car, and you can adjust the accelerometer's sensitivity to your preference. Music is provided by the band Feinkost. After you are finished hitting the track in the Polo, the game lets you find the nearest VW dealer using the phone's GPS to check out the vehicle in person.
Seat has also released a racing game for the iPhone called the Seat Cupra Race. You start off by choosing the Ibiza Cupra's color and then you can customize it with a bunch of different stickers. Steering is controlled by tilting the phone like in the VW game, and you can also change the camera angle to give you a first-person view as if you were actually looking through the windshield of the Spanish compact.
Both games are available for free through the App Store and will work with all versions of the iPhone and iPod touch.
Inside Line says: The racing dynamics keep getting better and better with each new game for the iPhone. — Mike Lysaght, Correspondent
