SANTA MONICA, California — Edmunds' Inside Line YouTube channel last Friday registered its 200 millionth video view, joining an exclusive club of two.
The only other player in the automotive category is BBC's Top Gear, which as of Friday had 286 million views.
The auto category on YouTube includes various media outlets from around the world, as well as auto manufacturers' official channels. Volkswagen leads in the latter category, with 84 million video views.

MT tested Sonata vs Camry vs Passat, in 3 trims and they all came in the same position each time, citing the same reason, and ignoring the $3-8,000 price differences. Insideline seems to have a fetish for BMWs, but has knocked the current 5er relentlessly, unlike other outlets which find a favorite and are blinded by the lights.
