LAS VEGAS — Toyota has partnered with two unusual outside firms — guitar maker Fender and custom motorcycle builder Sucker Punch Sally's — to transform a Tundra Regular Cab 4x2 pickup into the Toyota Tundra Hot Rod.

Starting with a flat-black Tundra, SPS added candy red hot-rod flames, Bonneville baby moon hubcaps, a custom cherry-bomb exhaust and a vintage 1950s Toyota logo in the grille, along with a custom tuck 'n' roll interior.

Fender added hand-turned brass control knobs and a polished wood cargo deck made of flamed curly maple. SPS also furnished custom aluminum side panels and railing.

Toyota can wave the American flag all it wants, and fool corespondents like the Lienerts.  We all know where the profits go...back to Japan.  Tundra should be put out to rice patty.
