MASSILLON, Ohio — It's not a glamorous job, but somebody's gotta do it. Doing it in style is the aim of the A.R.E. Exterminator, a customized 2010 Toyota Tundra pickup, which will be displayed at the PestWorld 2009 trade show in Las Vegas and then at the 2009 SEMA Auto Show. Isotech Pest Management teamed with A.R.E. of Massillon, a maker of truck caps, to make the handsome bug hunter.

The Detroit News reported that Bryan Baker of A.R.E. got the idea when watching the Discovery Channel program Verminators, which features the Isotech company. Baker noticed that Isotech workers used pickup trucks equipped with A.R.E.'s truck caps, he got in touch with Isotech and the rest is history.

The Exterminator gets A.R.E.'s CX Series truck cap as well as equipment from several aftermarket suppliers including a back-up camera and monitor, steps, a variety of bedliners and storage equipment and a full-body graphic treatment.

Inside Line says: This may be the most fun PestWorld trade showgoers have had all year. — Laura Sky Brown, Correspondent
