Shock Value: Toyota Announces Incentives

    0 Ratings

TORRANCE, California — Responding to a massive sales slump in September, Toyota Motor Sales said it will offer zero-percent financing on a wide range of models, with terms from 36-60 months. The deal ends on November 3.

The offer is virtually unprecedented at Toyota, which traditionally has been reluctant to offer rebates or any other incentives to move unsold vehicles.

Qualifying for the zero-percent deal are 11 models: 4Runner, Camry, Corolla, FJ Cruiser, Highlander, Matrix, RAV4, Sequoia, Sienna, Tacoma and Tundra.

What this means to you: Better step up to the plate — you're not likely to see Toyota repeat this one any time soon. — Anita Lienert, Correspondent
