TORRANCE, California — Toyota debuted an unusually humorous commercial for the 2012 Super Bowl that focuses on the "reinvented" 2012 Toyota Camry — and even uses the word "poop." It's the first time that Toyota has participated in Super Bowl advertising in three years and marks a dramatic departure from the Japanese automaker's usually staid commercials.
The Toyota commercial imagines a world where everything is reinvented, from cops who give massages to couches made of scantily clad supermodels to a baby that never needs a diaper change. It is one of two 30-second spots Toyota will air during the game. There is also an interactive social media component to the commercial. Viewers are urged to tweet with the #Reinvented hashtag about what they'd like to see reinvented.
"The premise of the spot is that good things are always better when reinvented; and in this case, they are also funnier," said Toyota in a statement on Monday.
The ad also uses the Richard Strauss fanfare Also Sprach Zarathustra, Op. 30 from the opening of Stanley Kubrick's 1968 film 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Toyota has some significant automotive advertising competition in this year's Super Bowl, from Volkswagen's barking dogs to Audi's vampires.

Outclassed in all aspects, they need advertising like this to get people's attention, because surely the old unchanged Camry does not. The Fusion is gonna be the peoples car soon enough, I'm already in line.

I've gotta admit that I really like it. It's very good!
And, just gotta find out where to get that re-invented sofa. The first one, with the bikini-clad females. Oh, yeah, baby! Of course, if they come with the car, then I'll be out at the nearest Toyots dealer picking out my new Camry!

Calm down over there!
Ford has already said they're not man enough to take Camry
And Ford's last two sedan redesigns, Taurus and Focus, have laid nice steamy craps on the market

The Camry's ad is one of the best Super Bowl Ad even seen. Very much positively impressed, which in the whole ad time keeps audience humoriously intelligently happily intrigued with the idea of "reinvented", the reinvented Camry.
The Sonic's stunt is very good, especially suited for the young first time buyers, while the Chevy's sucks, which ended with all the negativity and disappointment. GM should fire the ad agent
