TORRANCE, California — Toyota released the latest teaser photo of the redesigned 2012 Camry on Twitter.
The tightly cropped rear three-quarters shot is a close-up of the left taillight, with the Camry badge just below it. Also visible are portions of the roof, the deck lid and the rear bumper.
Toyota last week said the new Camry will be officially unveiled later this month in a series of four simultaneous reveals around the U.S. The new Camry Hybrid was unofficially revealed to the public on Inside Line two weeks ago in a series of spy photos. The 2012 Camry goes on sale in the fall.
The full Camry unveiling later this month will be held at the Automotive Hall of Fame in Dearborn, Michigan, as well as New York, Los Angeles and Georgetown, Kentucky, home of the Camry manufacturing plant. Toyota said the 2012 Camry Hybrid will be revealed on August 23 along with the mainstream model.
Inside Line says: The suspense is killing us.

I have a top of the line 2011 Camry XLE and I am extremely impressed by this new model. I'm also a bit envious! We own a 2010 Tundra and previously owned a 2002 camry also, I can say that I think this 2012 is by far a huge step up and a great improvment. I think it shows that toyota is putting a lot of research, effort and thought into what owners want and to the fast pace of today's technology. I think its a beautiful car and I do recognize a difference.

Yes, we know it's a big Corolla. I don't understand where Toyota is going with this direction. The current Camry SE looks better and sportier.
(Scratches head.....)

Funny, if one really doesn't care, why comment? like babies needing attention? :)
Interested to find the interior and hybrid improvements. For a family sedan or a transportation, there is hardly more to ask for. Also considering a Prius, a TL or new ES350 (yeah don't have a budget limit)... well, these "car enthusiasts" and fan boys make me laugh, but must admit that in a society, a car is indeed more than an appliance...

Regardless if anyone is even interested in teaser shots of the new Camry, I thought the cat was out of the bag, so why do they insist on releasing these shots when we've all seen the car already in its entirety?

Oh wow!!! I'm just drooling at the mouth wanting to see more of this Camry...
Just as much as I want to see the next Accord.
Jeez, Toyota needs to get a clue.
Nobody cares!

I can get excited about a Camry!!! So what, it's a mid-sized sedan that looks decent, drives decent, and is damn reliable. I can make a long list of Ford, Chrysler and GM vehicles that have been much worse.
The Sonata and Optima have swooping lines and exciting looks because they are building their audience still. The Camry already has a well established audience that is used to its conservative looks. Seriously, are people really expecting a turbocharged, rear-wheel drive head turner??? It's a Camry!....and I like it.

I think the current camry was very exciting when it came out... But thats because the old one was so boring and vanilla.
Toyota doesn't really try to make this car exciting at all. And if they tried, it wouldn't be hard to top themselves.
