Overview

Since its introduction in 1983, the 2010 Toyota Camry has defined the family sedan in America. The 2010 Camry is, like that first one, a straightforward, conventionally engineered, meticulously executed, midsize front-drive sedan.

The current 2010 Toyota Camry lineup has been pared down to just a single four-door sedan body style. But Toyota will fill that body's engine bay with four- or six-cylinder internal-combustion engines or with Toyota's Hybrid Synergy Drive system. In 2010, as in 1983, the best-selling Camry will likely have the four-cylinder engine and an automatic transmission.
