    Just the Facts:
    • Toyota's 2011 models will be equipped with brake override technology.
    • 2011 models will also see slight price increases and some upgrades.
    • Toyota's Scion subbrand also sees some upgrades and modest price increases.

TORRANCE, California — Toyota has announced pricing on its 2011 lineup, including price increases for 2011 models already on sale. The automaker also announced that 2011 models will get standard brake override technology, addressing consumer concerns in the wake of a massive global recall of Toyota products.

The 2011 Camry, already on sale in U.S. dealerships, will get a $125 price increase and will now be priced at $20,480-$30,130. The Camry Hybrid gets a $175 increase, to $27,335.

The 2011 Yaris, out in August, will get brake override technology as standard, and the liftback models get sun visor extensions. All models will be upped $250 and will now range in price from $13,615-$15,175.

The 2011 RAV4 also gets the brake override feature. There will also be a Base Plus Extra Value package with moonroof, six-CD audio, 17-inch alloy wheels, daytime running lights and other features. It, too, is up $250, and prices will range from $22,735-$29,045. The RAV4 will be in dealers in September.

The 2011 Land Cruiser adds brake override technology and makes the previously optional active seatbelt pre-tensioning system a standard feature. The Land Cruiser gets a more significant price increase of $1,400, to a base price of $68,180, and will hit dealerships in August.

The 2011 Tundra, also with standard brake override, has a revised 4.0-liter V6 engine with dual VVT-I system, plus interior changes including replacement of the cigarette lighter with a 12-volt power outlet. It's up $480, although Limited models get no price increase. The price range for the Tundra is now $24,910-$43,430.

For 2011, the Sequoia, also with brake override technology, gets an on-off switch for the daytime running lights, new "wood-grain-style" trim for the interior of the Platinum model, and a $550 increase in price. The price range is now $40,555-$60,930.

The top-end Avalon sedan is up $200 for 2011. It's already in dealerships and is now priced from $33,205-$36,445. The 2011 Sienna minivan is up $200 as well, now priced at $25,220-$40,730.

Toyota's Scion subbrand has also made modest changes and price adjustments for 2011. The 2011 Scion xD gets a "honeycomb style" grille, an adjustment to its ride height and tuned shocks. The xD is up $145 and now costs $15,805-$16,605.

Prices include delivery charges of $760 for cars, $810 for light trucks and $975 for the Sequoia and Tundra.

Hmm, looks like you forgot a few Toyota (Corolla, Prius, Tacoma, 4Runner?) and Scion models, (tC, xB) unless they were covered earlier.
In that case, consider revising the title.

If the author states: "¿Toyota's 2011 models will be equipped with brake override technology." at the beggining of the article, is it really necessary to mention it again and again after every model description?

    "rodger_victor says:
Toyota will have to slap ALOT of money on the hood to move any metal out of their showrooms to unsuspecting buyers."
I won't be so sure about that. Some investment analyst are already issuing buy advice on Toyota stock as they see the company will make a strong recovery. Used car prices for Toyota and Lexus models have not dropped either meaning consumers are still confident in their cars.
After people start to see the recalls on new GM, Ford models, they will quickly forget about Toyota's woes.

    No word on the Corolla?

Considering that the new Jetta 2011 is going to be cheaper than the 2010 model,
it would be interesting to know what are the prices for the 2011 Corolla.
