I guess they figured: who would buy a Tesla Roadster for $100,000 when we're going to be offering a Tesla S for $57,000??? Even the top-of-the line model will be about $77,000. The S is A LOT more car for the money. They would have to price the Roadster at around $50,000 for it to sell which should've been the price in the 1st place. Tesla would rather discontinue the Roadster than cut the price in half and anger it's past customers. More proof??? If you just bought a Tesla Roadster for $100,000, try to trade it in for ANY Tesla S when they become available. See what happens. They might give you $40,000. So your Roadster just lost 60% of it's value in a year. Ouch.

really? no more Tesla Roadster? I guess everyone that wanted one has one now, and they don't need to make any more?
