MUMBAI, India — Tata's new crossover vehicle, known internally as the Indicruz, will be the most expensive and luxurious model in the Indian automaker's range.
The Indicruz, which will be launched next month at Auto Expo 2010, will feature plush interiors and is expected to set new standards for space and comfort.
Built on an all-new platform, there's a lot of technology and electronics in the Indicruz, which is a first for Tata and the reason why it's taken so long to develop.
Built on a relatively long 108.3-inch wheelbase, the Indicruz has undergone extensive validation testing in Europe and is likely to come with ride and handling not seen on a Tata SUV before.
The Indicruz is expected to have a sticker price of around $25,600 to $27,800.
Inside Line says: The Indicruz will be positioned as Tata's flagship model above the Safari SUV, which will continue to be produced. — Hormazd Sorabjee, Correspondent

Why are all of TATA's cars so ugly? Well if porsche can make the Panamera...I guess I amswered my own question.

The car pictured is some type of concept or Photoshop of the Actual car. I've seen spy photos of the Indicruz on other sights and the head lights are curvier and the stance isn't awkward like this Photo. Other than that the Indicruz looks essentially just like the photo posted. Still for being a "Crossover" it looks just like a minivan and doesn't leave much of an impression for being Tata's flagship car. It's basically a tall van with dual exhaust and hinged rear doors.
