    What Is It?
    Suzuki S-Ride Concept

    What's Special About It?
The S-Ride is sort of a blending of Suzuki's car and motorcycle brands to create one vehicle. The S-Ride has the open-air feel of a motorcycle but with enough shelter from the environment to have a carlike interior space. It's a two-seater, and the occupants ride tandem the way they would on a motorcycle. There are no doors in the typical sense — access is gained through opening the large canopy. The gas-powered engine is mounted toward the rear and the body structure is made of aluminum to save weight.

An interesting telematics feature called "lovers sync" allows the navigation system to guide you to the location of someone you may be talking to on the phone. We're not sure why you wouldn't already know how to get there, but still it is an interesting feature.

    Why Should You Care?
As cities become more crowded, this "enlarged scooter" idea may become relevant. I'll bet this car qualifies for the carpool lane in most states. — Brian Moody
