NEW YORK — Suzuki has unveiled a new Sport variant of its midsize Kizashi sedan at the 2010 New York Auto Show. The 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport, available in both GTS and SLS trim levels, will reach U.S. dealers in August.

The cockpit features a sport steering wheel with perforated leather grip as well as leather seats with contrasting stitching.

This car needs more power BAD.  Please get it the power so that it can be a real player.  Turbo 4, V6 w/e it takes.  GIVE IT MORE POWER NOW!

Suzuki should take the 3.0 engine out of the grand vitara and revise it to at least 280 wit 265 torque
just have the valve time set different by being more responsive so it would be able to suck in more air change piston rings filters computer chips, modified intake and up date the exhaust system still use cvt transmission just have it retuned for  better performance. They already did that with 2.4 engine so do it with the 3.0

I really don't get all the complaints about the name...this is, after all, a Japanese company, so should the car not have a Japanese name? At least the name has a meaning, unlike Camry and Corolla, and isn't some seemingly random sequence of numbers and or letters like Mazda6, Mazda3, or Acura TSX. And it's not even hard to pronounce! Have we gotten so lazy we can't even say three syllables? Say it with me...kee-za-shee. If Americans could get over their apparent need for all things supersized, they might be surprised at what this car could offer them.

Nice car in need of more power! No source for a V6? Why not a turbo version of this motor? Come on Suzuki!!!

It's a terrible name ONLY if you cannot pronounce it.  And I'm sure some Japanese people would probably think "Danny" and "Paul" are just terrible names.

Call me crazy, but when you take a quick glance at it and look away, doesnt it have a Audi-esque look to it? I mean even the wheels on the sport model here reminds me of the last RS4 wheel design

I don't know how they did it, but this car looks fat from every angle. The odd shape of the exhaust is my least favorite thing about the back, while the front looks surprised and worries at the same time. Premium though it ma be in materials, it is so far from the sleek concept that it lacks the commanding stance of an up-market entry. I wish them all the best but for my money - if I want a less expensive luxury car - I'll look to Hyundai.

It is a terrible name, but Kudos for Suzuki to at least giving it a name and not just a number designation.

Way to be negative and xenophobic there, Paul. Great job.
