    Just the Facts:
    • The 2012 Suzuki Grand Vitara Marine Concept is a cross between a car and boat, as the customizing craziness continues at the 2011 SEMA Show.
    • The concept gets a Suzuki outboard motor, an ocean liner horn and a "surfboard rearview mirror."
    • The Grand Vitara is transformed into a convertible for the event and features a nautical-inspired paint job.

LAS VEGAS — Suzuki is not the first name that jumps to mind when it comes to amphibious vehicles. But that's the main thrust of the 2012 Suzuki Grand Vitara Marine Concept set for the 2011 SEMA Show.

The Grand Vitara Marine Concept, a cross between a convertible and a boat, gets a Suzuki outboard motor, an ocean liner horn and a "surfboard rearview mirror."

It also features a nautical-inspired paint job "intended to appeal to any waterman," said Suzuki in a statement.

Other details include a bull bar bumper with winch, oversized chrome wheels and a hydro cell.

The concept is the brainchild of students at the Ohio Technical College.

Inside Line says: It's Anchors Aweigh for Suzuki at the 2011 SEMA Show.

Exactly!  "The concept is the brainchild of students at the Ohio Technical College." is not really accurate, now is it?

I never knew college students watched TopGear.

Suzuki should be careful or Jeremy Clarkson will sue for design infringment. :)

I think though it really is a bad ass looking ride.
