    Just the Facts:
    • The Subaru Impreza WRX Club Spec 10 features suspension bits from the STI catalog.
    • It will be sold in a limited run of 250 cars in Australia.
    • Don't worry about it not coming to the U.S.; it's not the new wide-body WRX.

SYDNEY, Australia — Subaru Australia has prepared a limited edition of the Impreza WRX Sedan, called the Club Spec 10, with upgrades from the Subaru Tecnica International (STI) parts catalog.

Scheduled for release in Australia next month, the Subaru Impreza WRX Club Spec 10 will be offered in a short run of only 250 units, priced from the equivalent of $46,200 each. Note that it's based on the 2010 Impreza WRX and doesn't have the wide-body style of the 2011 WRX unveiled at last week's New York Auto Show.

STI bits include a front lip spoiler, a flexible strut tower bar, a flexible lower bar and front support kit, plus wider 17-inch Enkei alloy rims.

The cockpit gets leather seats, sunroof and satellite navigation.

Exterior colors include WR Blue, Obsidian Black and Satin White.

Inside Line says: The running gear upgrades are undoubtedly aimed at the Aussie track-day crowd, but between its high price and older body style, the WRX Club Spec 10 doesn't appear to be good value. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent

When you say this isnt good value, you have to look at just how much the goverment tax's on cars in Australia eg. AMG E63 is about $240,000(AUD) new and then in the us its $100,000(USD), this is a ripoff for any one that lives in Australia and wants a new car, as the ozzie $ is at about 93 US cents........

    Because Americans are special !!!

Naaahhh,  it could be the emission restriction, saftey restrictions and a whole lot of marketing strategy for U.S. Market.
