2003 Subaru Impreza
What's Special About It?
Don't like the styling of the current Subaru Impreza? Well, check out what Subaru is doing to 2003 models sold in Europe. The front-end design has changed to give these models a new look. Subaru says the wide range of design changes were dictated by needed improvements to the company's World Rally Championship (WRC) cars.
In a more aggressive design, the shape of the front bumper has changed, and the cooling performance inside the engine compartment and the aerodynamics were improved. There are also new headlights and taillights. In addition, the WRX STi version has special aerodynamic equipment, including front-corner spoilers, side sill spoilers and the large rear spoiler. Cooling of the intercooler has also been enhanced by enlarging the air intake in the hood.
Why Should You Care?
This is a much better-looking Subaru Impreza. Too bad 2003 U.S.-bound cars don't get the same treatment. Hopefully, when the WRX STi version reaches America's shores, it will look like this. Brent Romans
