    What Is It?
    Subaru SPT Impreza WRX Concept

    What's Special About It?
This WRX is a rolling catalog of aftermarket parts drawn from the Subaru Performance Tuning (SPT) catalog and Subaru Tecnica International (STI). From the SPT catalog there's a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust system and performance gauge pack complete with a turbo boost gauge. From the STI parts bin comes a host of minor improvements covering everything from the engine to the emblems. Under the hood there's a new air duct hose and air cleaner element, heavy-duty engine and transmission mounts and adjustable strut mounts. The suspension was fortified with new bushings all around, a revised lateral link, a rear strut tower brace and front and rear sway bars. The interior received some attention, too, with the addition of a MOMO shift knob, short throw shifter, carbon-fiber shift emblem and STI metallic pedals.

    What's Edmunds Take?
The WRX has proven to be an excellent platform for customization and this concept car proves it. From cosmetic enhancement to serious hard parts that improve performance, the SPT catalog has it all. Now all you have to do is find the money to buy it all. — Ed Hellwig
