2002 Subaru Impreza WRX
What's special about it?
The WRX is the Subie we've all been waiting for. With a turbocharged and intercooled 2.0-liter flat four making 227 horsepower, all-wheel drive and all kinds of other tricks, this thing's for real like we've never seen before from the three-time World Rally Champions.
Other bits worthy of mention are a viscous limited-slip differential, a five-speed manual or optional automatic transmission, a six-disc CD changer, remote keyless entry, a Momo steering wheel and side-impact airbags. Why should you care?
We really care after hearing about pricing. This feature-packed car is cheap a bargain of monumental proportions! Coming in at well under 25 grand, a five-speed WRX stickers at $23,995. The automatic trans is a $1,000 option. At 15 grand less than an Audi S4, it doesn't get any better.
