LONDON — Cosworth, the legendary British performance engine builder, is teaming with Subaru U.K. on a one-off edition of the Subaru Impreza WRX STI, to be unveiled at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show.
The partners released a teaser image and issued a brief statement, saying they have "enhanced the performance, handling and styling of the acclaimed Impreza STI, creating a car that will raise the bar for all-wheel-drive, high-performance motoring."
According to Britain's Autocar magazine, Subaru plans to put the car on sale in March, after the show.
Inside Line says: The partners also claim, rather immodestly, that "the result promises to be truly staggering." We can't wait. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent

Cosworth didn't do squat for the Vega. It was still a bad dog even with the Cosworth "twin cam".

I wonder why Cosworth hadn't do anymore cars for U.S. car companies?? Other than the very last one was for European Ford Focus RS.

Maybe Cosworth can get some of the ugly out of the Impreza STI.

Hey, Cosworth did wonders for the Chevy Vega! Maybe they still have some of that magic.
