Tease: 2009 Subaru Forester
TOKYO — Subaru has launched another microsite in Japan, this one to tease consumers with sneak shots of the redesigned 2009 Forester.
Subaru pursued a similar gambit with the recent launch of the all-new WRX STI, releasing several teaser images of the car prior to its launch at the 2007 Tokyo Auto Show.
The new Forester is scheduled to be released in Japan in late December. It is expected to make the rounds on the U.S. show circuit before going on sale next year as a 2009 model.
To glimpse the first teaser image, a rather dark rear-end shot, go to Subaru's Web site.
