- 2014 Smart Forfour: Although Smart already tried producing a four-seat vehicle that was unsuccessful in the marketplace, it may take another shot at the market now that it has the potential to tap the larger American market. If such a vehicle gets the go-ahead, don't expect to see it for another couple of years as Smart is busy working on rolling out the electric version of the Fortwo.

- 2013 Smart Fortwo: A pure electric version of the Smart Fortwo is expected to go on sale in 2012. It is being developed with Tesla Motors and is already being tested in various markets around the world.

What a stupid car! It's not even that fuel efficient comparatively to many sub-compacts and even hybrids. A head-on with a Prius would likely take you out, never mind an SUV or semi! NOT Smart in my opinion.
