Tuner Special: Koenigseder Smart Fortwo

    0 Ratings
POCHENDORF, Austria — Koenigseder Tuning may be used to modifying relatively bigger vehicles like the Audi Q7 or the Infiniti FX, but that didn't deter the Austrian tuning house from looking downmarket for its latest project, a wide-body kit for the tiny Smart Fortwo.

Koenigseder developed an aggressive body kit that adds an extra 1.2 inches to each side of the car and also includes sporty new front and rear spoilers. Floral stickers that almost look like watermarks against the white paint help complete the exterior with the help of five-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels.

Koenigseder also added Eibach sport springs that lower the vehicle and help improve the small two-seater's handling through the turns.

Inside, the floor is lined with carpet made of renewable raw material, reminiscent of the wooden floor mats found in the Koenigseder Dodge Caliber.

What this means to you: Now you can parallel-park in those tiny spots with some sporty Koenigseder style. — Mike Lysaght, Correspondent
