Club Monaco Dresses Up Smart Fortwo

NEW YORK — Harley-Davidson helped to trick out the Ford F-150. Tony jeweler Bulgari worked its magic on the gauges and clocks in the Cadillac Escalade. And now, upscale clothing retailer Club Monaco has left its mark on the Smart Fortwo.

A fleet of Club Monaco Smart Fortwos, essentially rolling billboards with the retailer's signature black-and-white look, have been launched in time for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week here. The fleet made its debut on Sunday and will continue making stops at various New York City locations on Monday and Tuesday. Models will give away pieces from Club Monaco's fall collection at each stop, including sunglasses, jewelry and cashmere scarves.

Those who miss the rollout can get a glimpse of a Club Monaco Smart Fortwo in the window at the retailer's 57th Street store through September 14.

What this means to you: A good photo-op for NYC fans of the Smart Fortwo. — Anita Lienert, Correspondent
