TORRANCE, California — Scion on Wednesday said its limited-production 2009 xB Release Series 6.0 will start at $18,163 for the manual-transmission model. Pricing includes a $670 destination charge. The car will be on display at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show.
The xB Release Series 6.0 goes on sale in February.
Details include an "Absolutely Red" exterior paint job, a unique front grille with custom black finish and a set of Release Series wheel covers. A color-keyed rear spoiler adds another $320 to the bottom line.
The automaker said only 2,500 units of the xB RS will be built.
