It's a shame they didn't alter the roofline.  The greenhouse area from the B-pillar back is what makes this car so unappealing to me.  Everything else looks cool, though, that's the worst part.

And, in my experience, power is overrated.  Sure, give it enough pep to pull smartly away from a stoplight, but beyond that, what do you need massive power in a small car like this for.  I know, I know, it's not about need, though, it's about want, and I will agree that they should at least give the consumer the option for a more hotted-up motor.

Bang on DeadViper,  whatever happened toToyota making world class sports cars? I mean come on, you can get 260hp on a Cobalt SS and the last rsx had 200hp. This isn't 1995, entry level sports cars need some serious power under the bonnet.

The wangs n' thangs crew have taken their widest liberty with the scalpel at the rear. As if such an underpowered car needs such a diffuser anyway.

Jeez man what would it take to make toyota and the band of tunerz that follow them give this car some much needed underhood balls? Right now, even the redesig's nothing more than an overpriced new age tercel. Even I can admit the scions potential to be at least a little more than that.
