LOS ANGELES — A $20,000 2011 Scion tC is the grand prize in an interactive competition that launches on June 1.
"'Unlock the tC Road Trip' game lets us unveil and launch the next-generation tC virtually and in the real world," said Jack Hollis, Scion vice president, in a statement.
The game, which highlights "customization and community," will pit four finalists against each other. Players can take "side trips" as they navigate cross-country from New York to Miami, with a final destination in Los Angeles.
A trailer for the game can be seen on Facebook.

How about:
"The all new, O-eleven Scion TC. Now, with more of the same."

Good observation. That would definitely be an awesome option on cars. I doubt that that is the case here. If it was, it should only be offered with this color, as it would look kinda silly with a bright red or blue (IMO). Probably just the lighting.
On another note, why must the new cars have (Can't) C-Pillars?? Sure they look all right, but they have no function to their form. Silly design cue Scion (and everyone else guilty).

hold up, does the A pillar fade from black to grey as it goes over the roofline? I like that option

You can top out a current TC at $20k now with all the 'options'. It sounds like to me that this is simply a 'tricked out' TC. Hell they say the band inspired ones are worth $30k.
Either way, it's a great way for Scion to put out the new product. I'm out of the demographic, but I'm sure I'll find myself playing the game.

$20,000 is not a "youth" price for a youthful vehicle.
