Rolls-Royce Updates the Phantom

    0 Ratings
GOODWOOD, England — Rolls-Royce has updated the 2009 Phantom and Phantom Extended Wheelbase models inside and out, but the visual impact is minimal.

If you look closely, you may spot the mildly revised front bumper and stainless steel grille, which now look a bit more like those on the Coupe and Drophead Coupe.

Rolls is now fitting 21-inch cast aluminum wheels to the Phantom and is offering forged alloys in painted and polished finishes. One other exterior upgrade: The door handles are now illuminated via LEDs.

The interior changes are even more modest, with some switches repositioned, trim upgraded and reading lights added.

Inside Line says: The changes are so subtle, it seems less like a face-lift and more like a Botox injection. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
