Overkill: Mutec Phantom

OBERSTENFELD, Germany — Mutec builds stretched and armor-plated limousines for private customers, specializing in the BMW and Rolls-Royce brands. So far, its pièce de résistance has been an über 7 Series that's nearly 4 feet longer than the standard model.

Now Mutec is offering an equally absurd "Queen Mary" edition of the Rolls-Royce Phantom, stretched to an eye-popping 273 inches long, with a divider installed behind the front seats to provide the rear occupants with additional privacy. (For comparison purposes, a Tata Nano measures 122 inches long.)

Mutec has completely redone the cabin of the Phantom, swapping out the Roller's standard rear bench for four individually adjustable seats that face each other. Features include a cold box for drinks, plus individual climate controls, among other goodies.
