BEIJING — Shanghai Auto's Roewe brand is unveiling a new entry-level sedan, the Roewe 350, this week at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show. Priced from under $11,000, the Roewe 350 is derived from the N1 concept that debuted at last year's Shanghai show.

The Roewe 350 is being assembled at SAIC's Nanjing plant and will go on sale in early summer. It will feature a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a choice of five-speed manual and four-speed automatic transmissions. A turbocharged 1.5 is in the pipeline.

One of the car's unique features is a DVD-based navigation and infotainment system that will run Google's Android mobile-phone operating system and will provide onboard Web access.

headlights looks like a sebring, the body looks like a sonata, and the butt looks like a forte.  i suppose as long as hyundai/kia are doing some healthy copying, china can join the fray.
