    Just the Facts:
    • Edo Competition's upgrades for the Porsche Panamera include engine, suspension and aerodynamic mods.
    • Edo boosts the Porsche V8 to 460 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque.
    • An aero body kit and larger wheels and tires are part of the Hellboy package.

AHLEN, GermanyEdo Competition knows how to push European luxury and performance cars a bit closer to the edge. So when Edo unveiled its new "Hellboy" edition of the Porsche Panamera S, we were tempted — sorry — to take a closer look.

What we discovered first were some relatively subtle modifications to Porsche's normally aspirated 4.8-liter V8, notably a recalibrated ECU, a set of high-flow air filters and a new stainless-steel exhaust system with high-performance catalytic converters and high-flow mufflers. The results were surprisingly effective, boosting output from 400 to 460 horsepower and torque from 369 to 406 pound-feet, enabling a top speed in excess of 190 mph and 0-60 acceleration in less than 4.6 seconds.

The aero kit also is subtle, packaging a carbon-fiber front skirt with integrated daytime running lights and enlarged air intakes for improved cooling, as well as a carbon-fiber front lip spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser and a classic Porsche "ducktail" spoiler. The diffuser shrouds ceramic-coated billet-aluminum tailpipes.

The Hellboy rides on 21-inch forged-alloy rims with 265/35ZR21 rubber in front and 305/30ZR21s in the rear. For dress-up purposes, green brake calipers are visible through the wheels, with green pinstriping accenting the exterior. An extra-cost option is an electronic lowering module that can drop ride height by up to 1.2 inches.

Edo will configure the cabin to the customer's taste, with an array of custom steering wheels, consoles, pedals and seats from which to choose.

@yatesjo that's the only way to make the Panamera look good by comparison...

What's with the ugly, tatooed girl?  Your trying to sell a bit of fantasy with the car, wouldn't  a pretty girl make for better marketing?  This isn't the kind of girl most guys want to attract in their fantasies... more like their nightmares.

No, no... Edo... You're totally doing it wrong.  I'm not sick looking at it... You need to make it uglier...

I think it's one of the most tasteful editions of the Panamera-pimp-edition.  Though I'll keep the super cool auto-up spoiler rather than that stupid ducktail...  And I'd like to see a more typical model with the car... though she matches the "hellboy" name.  If it's 'hellboy' shouldn't the accent colours be red / orange?

What the "Hell"!!!, please do not use "HellBoy" for this thing. Hellboy is cool, strong and tough. This thing is just "looks like hell".
