- 2013 Porsche 911: Base Carrera and Carrera S coupes and cabriolets were redesigned for 2012, so for the 2013 model year, expect the all-wheel-drive Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S models to transition over to the 991 generation.
- 2014 Porsche 911: If history holds, the 2014 model year will see the introduction of the revamped 991-generation 911 GT3 and the GT3 RS coupes, along with the 911 Turbo coupe and cabriolet. Spy shooters have already gotten video of the 991-generation Turbo testing in Germany, though, so it's possible that its launch date will be moved up. It's rumored that the 911 GT3, the most driver-focused member of the 911 family, could be offered only with Porsche's PDK automated manual transmission instead of a conventional six-speed manual.
- 2015 Porsche 911: The 911 GT2, the zany rear-drive version of the 911 Turbo (which is of course all-wheel drive), should be all-new for 2015.
Porsche 918 Spyder
- 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder: Shown as a concept at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show, the Porsche 918 Spyder combines a mid-mounted V8 engine that produces at least 500 horsepower with two electric motors that provides an additional 218 horsepower to create a ridiculously fast plug-in hybrid. Then at the Detroit Show in 2011 it showed a hardtop version of the car with 767 hp. Porsche plans to put the 918 Spyder into production, in late 2013 and at $845,000 per vehicle with only 918 units during the planned production run, you're assured exclusivity but it remains to be seen if the production model will pack this kind of power.
Porsche Boxster
- 2013 Porsche Boxster: A redesigned Boxster will go on sale in summer 2012. Porsche continues to use six-cylinder engines — a 265-hp 2.7-liter flat-6 in the base car and a 315-hp 3.4-liter in the Boxster S. Transmissions include a conventional six-speed manual and the PDK seven-speed, dual-clutch automated manual. It's likely that Porsche is working on a more fuel-efficient turbocharged four-cylinder engine that could be introduced later in the model cycle. In addition, the Boxster E prototypes shown in 2011 suggest Porsche might explore EV or plug-in hybrid technology in the longer term.
Porsche Cayenne
- 2014 Porsche Cayenne: The Cayenne was redesigned for the 2011 model year, so don't look for much to change until 2014 when it will be time for a midcycle refresh.
Porsche Macan
- 2014 Porsche Macan: Porsche will add a smaller crossover SUV to its lineup in the second half of the 2013 calendar year. It's based on the Audi Q5, and spy photographers have spotted it testing in the Arctic.
Porsche Cayman
- 2014 Porsche Cayman: With the redesign of the Boxster in 2012, look for a similar update to the Cayman about a year later. Reduced weight and smaller displacement engines are the biggest changes expected for the revamped Cayman.
Porsche Panamera
- 2013 Porsche Panamera: Porsche is rolling out yet another variation of the Panamera. The GTS is aimed at true car guys, as it combines a tuned, 430-hp version of the naturally aspirated 4.8-liter V8 with a lowered suspension calibrated to maximize the sedan's handling capabilities.
- 2014 Porsche Panamera: A diesel Panamera is already on sale in Europe. Power comes from a 3.0-liter TDI V6 engine developed by Audi. Plans for sale in the U.S. market have not been announced, but now that Audi is expanding availability of that engine in its U.S. product line, it's not inconceivable that Porsche would follow suit.
Porsche Entry-Level Roadster
- 2016 Porsche Entry-Level Roadster: Porsche is reportedly developing an entry-level, midengine roadster that would slot in below the Boxster and use VW platform architecture and exclusive four-cylinder engines. However, recent reports indicate the project has been delayed and possibly shelved.
Porsche Mid-Engine Supercar
- 2015 Porsche Mid-Engine Supercar: Porsche is working on an elite sports car with a mid-mounted V8 engine. It will be positioned above the 911 but below the 918 Spyder, and priced around $375,000.

Porsche conservatively claims the 2011 Turbo S is 0-60 in 3.1 and 1/4 in 11.1 @ 129mph with top speed of 196 mph. Magazine tested @ 2.6 to 60 and 10.7 @ 131 in 1/4 mile. BMW does not come close. Wake up. BMW is heavy even by your own admittance. They do perform well but not in the same league as Ferrari and Porsche.

Ok, my current car is a 07 335i coupe six speed with the dinan stage 3 engine upgrade, 402 HP and 434 TQ (minus the exhaust) I believe Porsche are great driving automobiles, but they are not worth the price of admission. A BMW M3 offerers 90% of a 911 turbo performance for half the price. This goes for all of the comparable models between the two companies. BMW just needs to adopt Porsche weight reduction philosophy and maybe all wheel drive for all M models. Disagree if you dare.

the sooner these new models come out, the faster 997a/b's will depreciate, and thus the more able poor folks like me are to get their hands on instead of dream of a p-car :)

Porsche never ceases to amaze me with how they continue to top the previous model's performance and handling. The things they can do with a Flat-6.....simply amazing.
