LEONBURG, Germany — Last month Gemballa introduced the Avalanche GTR 800 EVO-R, a Porsche 911 that churns out an amazing 850 horsepower. Now the Porsche specialist furthers its fleet of souped-up vehicles with the addition of GT and GT 4.0-liter RS packages.

The GT includes a visual package as well as suspension modifications. The front receives a lip spoiler and hood with an integral scoop, while the rear addition is a modest spoiler that provides an ample amount of downforce. The already powerful Cayman platform receives 20-inch lightweight wheels, an adjustable suspension and a throaty exhaust system. Alcantara accents and a black-on-red theme inside complete the look.

The GT 4.0-liter RS adds 6/10ths of a liter to the stock 3.4-liter engine, creating numbers that will most likely rival the stock Carrera S. Lip spoilers and exterior carbon-fiber accents pair with BBS-style rims to create the mean Gemballa look. Like the GT, the interior has all kinds of Alcantara accoutrements that go along with the menacing black-on-yellow theme.

What this means to you: Although it can't compete with the Avalanche, it still deserves to join the group of prestigious Gemballa-tuned vehicles. — Mike Lysaght, Correspondent
