- SpeedART offers three levels of tune for the Porsche Cayenne.
- The modified SUV will be unveiled at the 2010 Essen Auto Show.
- The German tuner will also display a tuned Porsche 911 with PDK transmission at the Essen show.
GERLINGEN, Germany — SpeedART has taken the wraps off its Titan Evo, which is based on the second-generation Porsche Cayenne and will be unveiled at the 2010 Essen Auto Show.
The tuner installs engine upgrades for three Cayenne models, resulting in a 50 horsepower and 52 pound-feet increase for the diesel variant, a 70-hp and 37 lb-ft boost for the S Hybrid model and a 100-hp, 110 lb-ft kick for the Turbo. SpeedART showcases the performance benefit of its modified Cayenne S Hybrid model and says its 0-60-mph sprint drops 0.6 second to 5.9 seconds and top speed increases to 156 mph. A sport exhaust system with a switch to control the exhaust tone is available for all models.
Two body kits are available, including a front bumper, rear bumper, fender flares and side skirts. A set of 23-inch forged alloy wheels with 315/25 tires work with a lowering kit to complete the new look. Cayennes with the air suspension can be equipped with an electronic lowering module, while typical-suspension models get a set of sport lowering springs.
SpeedART has a variety of customizations available for the interior, ranging from carbon-fiber trim and seats to a rear-seat entertainment system with an iPad and iPhone docking station.
The German tuner will also use the Essen show to display its new BTR-II 650 EVO that's based on the Porsche 911 with the PDK transmission. It's loaded with 650 hp and 665 lb-ft of torque.
Inside Line says: Another pretty extreme Porsche modification package from the tuner out of Gerlingen. — Mike Lysaght, Correspondent

At what point do you just buy a Panamera? (Trick question!)

Aren't those wheels from the 918? The look is too "busy" and cluttered. How does the boost affect the hybrid's fuel economy?

They got the 'speed' part down. 'Art', not so much. Dislike.

Speed art is known to make cars faster and uglier.
