GERLINGEN, Germany — SpeedART's Titan Evo XL 600 wide-body and performance upgrade package for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo will be unveiled at the upcoming 2011 Geneva Auto Show.

Engine upgrades include a Motronic update, a modified exhaust system with an optional sound switch control and improved intercoolers. The exhaust system comes with 2x100mm twin tailpipes. The changes boost total output from the standard 500 horsepower to 600 hp and torque to 627 pound-feet. SpeedART plans to introduce an even more powerful engine upgrade expected to boost output to 650-700 hp.

SpeedART is no stranger to modifying Porsche Cayennes. Last year, it released aero and performance kits for the Cayenne, although it was not offered in a wide-body version.

The new wide-body kit includes a front chin spoiler, wider fender flares, a rear diffuser and new door planking. Cayennes equipped with the air suspension can use SpeedART's electronic lowering module.

Oversize 23-inch CTS forged wheels with 315/25 tires add more flare to the aggressive look of this package. The lightweight wheels weigh only 37 pounds each. Modular 22-inch forged wheels are also available.

SpeedART has upgrades for the interior, including carbon shell-type seats and a multimedia unit with an iPad and iPhone docking station.

So you buy an SUV to sit way up high. Then you lower it way down by swapping out the shocks. Dumb made dumber - hooray!

37 pounds for 23 inch wheels is indeed quite light. Go chaeck the weights on some OE's 20"s.

This is the modern day sleeper.  No one expects any car gussied up like this to be anything more than a tuner's showpiece.  That it might actually have performance improvements like another 100 hp? Impossible!

Just wondering who really cares about this. Even if I were rich enough to be able to afford a Cayenne I wouldn't get one. It's cool in a theoretical sort of way - yup, 600 h.p. is pretty cool - but the reality of living with this thing on a daily basis? No thanks. When you're sitting in traffic or going from one end of a city to the other end at 25 mph, 600 h.p. doesn't do you a lot of good.

Uhm. Not quite sure what to make of this. It's gaudy as hell, but for some reason I can't quite explain, I kinda like it.

    Well, maybe not.

    I don't know.

    600hp sounds good, though.
