Belgian Tuner Caractere Outfits the Porsche Cayenne

    WERBOMONT, Belgium — Belgian tuner Caractere, best known for its conversions of Volkswagen and Audi products, is delving deeper into Porsche country, with an upgrade of the Cayenne.

    Caractere starts with a full aero body kit that bundles front and rear bumper assemblies, side skirts, extended wheel arches and roof spoiler, then adds a sport exhaust system.

    The tuner's CW1 alloy rims can be ordered in graphite or silver finishes and are available in 20-, 21- and 22-inch diameters.

    The Cayenne's cockpit can be trimmed in carbon fiber, in the customer's choice of finishes and colors.

    Inside Line says: With conversions now available for the Cayenne and Boxster, Caractere says it plans to extend the Porsche upgrades this year to the Panamera and new 911.

    Alright... are these "tuner" stories some sort of inside joke with you guys ?

    Yes, i'll be sure to buy a $100k car and then spend another $50k for someone to put a spoiler on it and reupholster it...  you know so my daughter can impress her high school friends w/ it before she drives it into a ditch.

    The editors need to do a better job proofing these articles.  After looking at the pictures, I'm pretty sure the company name is spelled, "Caricature".
