Our spy shooters recently caught the next version of Porsche's 911 GT2 lapping the Nurburgring.

You have to look closely at this Porsche prototype to see that it’s the upcoming 2011 GT2.   In fact, from the front there are no visible changes at all.    It’s not until you see the rear end that it’s clear this is a next-generation model.   The entire rear fascia has been reworked and now features larger vents and new taillights.   We expect to see a slight bump in power as well. The current GT2 already cranks out 530 horsepower, so this version could be laying down as much as 550 horses.   And judging by the looks of things, it doesn’t have trouble laying them down.
