DETROIT — General Motors will offer zero-percent financing for up to 72 months on select 2009 and 2010 vehicles as part of a "72-Hour Sale" that begins today. Soon-to-be-discontinued Pontiac models such as the Vibe, G3, G5, G6 and G8 are on the list, including the Pontiac G8 GXP. The sale runs to July 6.
The sale also includes the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra regular, extended and crew cab light-duty pickups, the Chevrolet Suburban and GMC Yukon XL SUVs, and the Chevrolet Impala.
GM said it is also offering reduced-rate financing of zero percent for up to 60 months for well-qualified buyers on several other vehicles. A full list is available at GM's Web site. The incentives are part of GM's "Buy and Say Goodbye" program, also designed to make consumers aware of just how many GM vehicles qualify for the "cash for clunkers" program.
