    Just the Facts:
    • A 1970 Plymouth Road Runner used in the F & F movies will be auctioned off this weekend.
    • This is Barrett-Jackson's inaugural Orange County, California, auction.
    • The auction, which will feature 400 vehicles, runs from June 25-27.

COSTA MESA, California — A 1970 Plymouth Road Runner dubbed the Hammer, which appeared in the third and fourth Fast and the Furious movies, a 2007 Aston Martin Zer-Black Gravity Racer and a 1936 Ford Custom Five Window Coupe from the collection of Jesse James are just three of the intriguing vehicles set to cross the auction block this weekend at Barrett-Jackson's inaugural Orange County auction.

The auction, which will feature 400 vehicles, runs from June 25-27.

"Hammer made its worldwide debut at the Mopar Performance booth at SEMA and on TLC's hit television show Rides," noted Barrett-Jackson in a statement. The car gets a Sterling Grey exterior paint job and an all-aluminum 528 Hemi V8 engine. It was built by Steve Strope of Pure Vision Design in Simi Valley, California.

The 2007 Aston Martin Zer-Black Gravity Racer is described by Barrett-Jackson as the third zero-emissions vehicle produced in the 97-year history of Aston Martin.

Another showstopper promises to be the 1961 Ford Thunderbird Custom Roadster "Thunderflite." The car features a custom double-bubble top.

No Southern California car auction would be complete without some celebrity rides. Barrett-Jackson says that Jesse James of West Coast Choppers has consigned his purple 1936 Ford Custom Five Window coupe from his personal collection. The car has a three-speed automatic transmission and a 350 engine. It appeared in an AutoZone commercial with James.

I saw this at Mopar booth at SEMA a couple of years a go.  The pictures dont do it justice.  Best car ever featured in F & F movies.
