PARIS — Peugeot will offer visitors to the 2008 Paris Auto Show a glimpse of its upcoming 3008 mini-MPV in a concept hybrid vehicle called the Prologue.
Peugeot is providing few advance details on the Prologue but describes the concept as a "new-generation hybrid." The French automaker says the compact crossover gets a 200-horsepower engine with an ultralow CO2 emissions level of 109 g/km.
The vehicle also offers "style, interior ambience [and] modularity," Peugeot said, along with "new-generation hybrid technology."
The production 3008 is slated to go on sale in 2009 and may be previewed next spring at the Geneva show.
