Description: Pagani builds essentially one car that it offers as multiple special models, including a roadster. All models share similar construction, utilizing a carbon-fiber tub with chromoly steel subframe assemblies at both ends. Body panels are also carbon fiber. All models use Mercedes/AMG-sourced V12 engines. The Zonda roadster is the most basic model and the Zonda R — which offers carbon brakes, motorsport-grade electronics and a sequential gearbox — is the top of the Pagani line. They're built in Modena, Italy, so it's no secret who these guys intend to compete against.
IL says: Visually stunning, brilliantly crafted and producing a sound to die for, these cars epitomize Italian craftsmanship even more than Ferrari. What's not to love about the Zonda?

Pagani Automobili S.p.A. is an Italian company located in San Cesario sul Panar which is near Modena - home of Ferrari.
Horacio Pagani moved to Italy in 1983 and soon began working at Lamborghini.
Plenty of domestic companies have foreign born owners.

They call the Pagani brand, italian... but Horacio Pagani is a full blooded Argentinian. So which one is it?
