    What Is It?
    Nissan Urge Concept

    What's Special About It?
The Urge concept is essentially a stripped-down two-seat roadster, aimed at a younger, predominantly male audience, with a couple of design curiosities and an unrivaled fusion of modern entertainment technology and considerable performance potential.

Sure, other automakers have tried to fuse gaming technology with auto enthusiasm — the most recent example being the 5 Axis Scion xA Speedster that appeared at this year's SEMA show — but Nissan's latest concept fuses the Xbox 360 to its design in a truly unique way.

While the Xbox on both the Urge and the xA Speedster can be played by driver and passengers with wireless remote controls, the Urge takes gaming to the next level by allowing the actual steering wheels, pedals, and shifter of the vehicle to be used as the controls for racing-based games, such as Project Gotham Racing 3.

In addition to the Xbox 360, the Urge also includes a cell phone that doubles as an ignition key, five information screens that can be tailored to the individual needs of the driver, a fold-down display attached to the rearview mirror (that acts as a video game monitor), and a dock for an MP3 player.
