FRANKLIN, Tennessee — Nissan has raised prices modestly on the face-lifted 2011 Murano. The base Murano S FWD now starts at $29,300, up $160 from the 2010 model. Prices include an $800 shipping charge.
All Muranos get a new grille, lower fascia and taillamps for 2011, and all but the LE trim level feature new 18-inch wheels.
The biggest changes are the addition of an SV trim level just above the S and the addition of more standard equipment to the SL trim level, which now bundles the Premium, Leather, Moonroof and Technology packages that were extra-cost options in 2010.
The 2011 Murano SV FWD starts at $32,710, while the Murano SL FWD starts at $36,350. In comparison, last year's Murano SL FWD was priced from $31,260.
The most expensive model for 2011 is the range-topping Murano LE AWD, which is priced from $39,940, up $430 from 2010.

I am a Nissan fan - and owner. While I have seen more aesthetic nose jobs than the '11 Murano, I own an '09 Murano and can tell you that you need to drive one before you bash Nissan. It's about the driving dynamic, not just the appearance. In fact, I lost all of my reservations about the styling when I first got behind the wheel. While I too wouldn't mind an increase from the current 260hp, I'm conscious of fuel economy. I didn't care for the Maxima in the '90s and think today's is more in line with design and quality that I find appealing. Don't overlook the fact that Nissan is likely holding back hp in the Murano because Infiniti (at a higher price and exclusivity) gets the additional hp for a premium price. I owned an '03 FX but the penalty of lower fuel economy and a midgrade or premium fuel requirement cost you more in the long run. I suggest going out and driving these vehicles before you comment on them. I test drive new cars all the time and can tell you that looks become far less important once you get behind the wheel.

I am a Nissan fan, but this needs a nose job and some extra ponies under the hood. Bad job on this crossover, especially since the base Edge is much more appealing in everyway.
If they made the SV FWD a 290HP like the Maxima, then perhaps I would reconsider.
Now just like in the 90's, the Maxima remains a solid car for a good price, and everything else besides one or two other models is pointless. And now that Infiniti will adopt Mercedes Benz tech, I am losing interest every day.
