    1 Rating
TOKYO — Nissan has announced that the exclusive GT-R SpecV edition will go on sale on February 2 at seven Japanese dealers, with prices starting at $169,000.

Nissan said the limited-edition GT-R is "targeted specifically at enthusiast drivers who desire racecar-level performance in a street-legal vehicle."

The GT-R SpecV features unique hardware and specific interior and exterior treatments, as well as such performance modifications as a high-gear boost control device to enhance mid-to- high-speed torque, a titanium-coated exhaust system and carbon-ceramic brakes. The SpecV also gets suspension upgrades and rides on special high-grip tires mounted on Nismo forged aluminum racing-style wheels.

Among the exterior changes, Nissan has fitted a carbon fiber rear spoiler, a carbon fiber grille and carbon fiber brake ducts. The car is painted Ultimate Black Opel.

The two-place cabin features Recaro carbon fiber bucket seats and carbon fiber accents in the instrument panel.
