The Japanese automaker on Monday announced that it has earmarked about 200 GT-Rs for distribution in the Middle East in 2009. Global production of the GT-R is limited to 1,000 units per month, the automaker said.
Nissan also said it will showcase a "driving challenge" for the GT-R on March 2 on the Jebel Hafeet Mountain Road, which is called the most challenging stretch of road in the United Arab Emirates. Piloting the car will be Mohamed Ben Sulayem, described as the "most awarded rally driver in the Middle East."
