2008 SEMA Show: Zele GT-R Wraps Nissan's Supercar in Carbon Fiber

LAS VEGAS — Zele International's customized Nissan GT-R has made its U.S. debut at the 2008 SEMA Show, showing off a host of carbon fiber body parts and a few other modifications.

Slathered in serious amounts of orange paint and carbon fiber, the Zele GT-R includes a revised front bumper, lip spoiler, side skirts, underbody spoiler, air duct, front fender ducts and a new grille. Individually, the parts cost between $500 and $1,000. Zele also offers an ECU upgrade, titanium exhaust and a quartet of Rays black forged aluminum wheels. The ECU upgrade is available in two specs, with the top-end version raising the rev limit to 7,200 rpm, adding boost and allowing a top speed of 211 mph.

Inside Line says: The Zele kit may be a complete package, but look for new, lighter parts at the 2009 Tokyo Auto Show. — Eric Tingwall, Correspondent
