The Cube is carefully positioned against the 2009 Scion xB, which starts at $16,420, including a $670 destination charge. The Cube 1.8 Base model is priced $1,735 less than the base xB.
Nissan provided pricing for at least 11 options on the Cube. They include $290 20-color interior accent lighting, a $180 rear cargo organizer and an $1,180 aero kit. A set of 16-inch gunmetal or silver alloy wheels will add another $790 to the bottom line.
The Cube is equipped with a 122-horsepower 1.8-liter DOHC inline-4. The EPA has not yet posted official fuel economy numbers for the Cube on its Web site.
