Nissan Holds Prices on 2012 Titan, With Small Bump on 2012 Armada

    FRANKLIN, Tennessee — Prices on the full-size Nissan Titan pickup are unchanged for model year 2012, while certain models of the 2012 Nissan Armada utility vehicle get a modest increase. The 2012 trucks are on sale now at Nissan's U.S. dealers.

    The lowest-priced Titan for 2012 is the Titan S King Cab 4x2 SWB, which remains unchanged at $28,385. The range-topping 2012 Titan SL Crew Cab 4x4 SWB also is priced the same as last year, at $41,185.

    All prices include a $975 shipping charge.

    For 2012, the Titan comes in S, SV, PRO-4X and SL trim levels, with a new SV Sport Appearance package available. The big Nissan pickup again is offered in King Cab and Crew Cab body styles, with a choice of 4x2 and 4x4 drivelines, in three bed lengths and two wheelbases.

    The 2012 Armada again comes in SV, SL and Platinum trim levels, in 2WD and 4WD configurations.

    For 2012, Nissan has added a standard power liftgate in the SV Driver package and on the Armada SL, as well as heated front seats on the SL. On the Armada Platinum, standard equipment now includes second-row heated seats and a padded center armrest with the captain's chair option.

    The 2012 Armada 4x2 SV starts again at $39,465, with the 4x4 variant priced again from $45,065. Price hikes on other trim levels range from $160 on the Armada Platinum to $300 on the Armada SL.

    Inside Line says: Little changes on the big trucks, in terms of equipment and window stickers.

    They are in the process of redsigning the titan/pathfinder and Xterra(?)...the platforms are all new in 2013...so major changes are coming. Rumour is the xterra might be discontinued. Hope not.

    what they should improve their front shock to offroad and ford took a big step nissan is falling behind.

    dont they need to re-design this thing... i think it's looked the same since like 2004??
