TOKYO — Nissan is offering a special limited-edition version of its 370Z for European buyers only, European media are reporting. The special model is to be named for the Nürburgring, where the 370Z participated in the 24-hour race last month.

The special-edition Z-car will get a performance exhaust system to improve on the unchanged 3.7-liter V6 that makes 332 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. A set of 19-inch OZ Racing alloy wheels adds sporting allure to the 370Z.

Available only in bright yellow, the 370Z Nürburgring will be sold in a limited edition of 80, each with a numbered identification plaque, and priced at the equivalent of about $71,275. A nice bonus is a card good for some $212 worth of public track days at the famous German circuit.

Inside Line says: Limited-edition fun for the European Z-car fan. — Laura Sky Brown, Correspondent
