NEW YORK — Mitsubishi next week will unveil the Outlander GT Prototype at the 2009 New York Auto Show. The new model is an evolution of the company's Outlander compact crossover.
Teaser shots released by Mitsubishi show that the vehicle will adapt a grille inspired by cues from the Lancer sedan. The showcar is painted Diamond White.
Under the hood is a more powerful 3.0-liter SOHC V6, coupled with Mitsu's Super-All-Wheel-Control System for improved control and handling. Mitsubishi also has fitted Idle Neutral Logic, which automatically shifts the transmission into neutral when the vehicle is stopped.
